Our dedicated, knowledgeable staff takes great pride in growing beautiful, strong, healthy plants! They love getting their hands dirty, know what works in their gardens and can give you great suggestions on what will work best in yours. They’re always ready to talk plants, answer your questions, and help you carry out your haul when you’re ready to head home.
ALYCIA BREHM
Alycia has owned and operated Hillside since 2016. She loves playing in the dirt, and learning how to grow new varieties of plants.
MATT BREHM
Matt co-owns Hillside. He loves being the maintenance man for the greenhouse! (Kind of) He literally keeps the whole place running.
SARAH DOTY
Sarah enjoys gardening, growing herbs for teas and medicinal use. She has worked at the greenhouse for 9 spring seasons.
MELANIE GILROY
Melanie has worked at Hillside since 2018. She likes to keep the geraniums looking good, and getting her steps in while helping customers.
NICOLE WOODFORD
Nicole has worked at Hillside since 2018. She loves helping customers find the perfect perennials, vegetables, and water plants.
VICKIE STRAYER
Vickie has worked at Hillside for 19 years, and loves planting custom containers.
DEEDEE
DeeDee has worked at Hillside for 3 years. She loves trimming up plants and helping customers find exactly what they are looking for.
REBECCA ROACH
Rebecca is a lifelong hobby gardener and plant lover (and our resident bulb expert/experimenter).
HALEY PRICKETT
Haley started working at the greenhouse in 2024. She loves keeping the front greenhouse looking good and helping customers.
